Summer Training and Summer Concert 2026
Proudly supported by the Hills Shire Council, the Summer Training 2025 will take place from 11 to 17 January 2026.
This one-week intensive training will improve young musicians’ orchestral skills and performances for their school musical activities.
Directed by an experienced conductor, the program showcases the highest artistic value, offering the most educational and enjoyable classical, romantic, and contemporary music. It provides an opportunity to enhance musical absorption capabilities technically and musically through concentrated training within a week.
WHO CAN JOIN:
Young orchestral musicians under the age of 25 play the following instruments at the levels of AMEB grade 5 – LMus (or equivalent):
HOW TO JOIN:
Fill out the online application form and send a short video recording of your performance to management@sys.org.au before 31 December 2025.
You will be notified of payment options should your application be successful.
FEE: $500
You can use your valid Creative Kids vouchers. (Send the voucher with your name, date of birth and the payment slip).
