SUMMER TRAINING 2024 APPLICATION FORM
Proudly supported by the Hills Shire Council, the Summer Training 2024 will be hosted from 14 to 20 in January 2024.
This one-week intensive training will improve young musicians’ orchestral skills and hence enhance young musicians’ performances for their school musical activities such as school bands, school ensembles, and school orchestras.
Directed by an extremely experienced conductor, the program features the highest artistic value, and the most educational and enjoyable music of classical, romantic, and contemporary. It provides an opportunity to enhance musical absorption capabilities both technically and musically through concentrated training within a week, and a concert.
WHO CAN JOIN:
Young orchestral musicians under the age of 25, play the following instruments at the levels of AMEB grade 5 – LMus (or equivalent):
- First violin – (AMEB grade 8 and above or equivalent)
- Second violin (AMEB grade 7 and above or equivalent)
- Viola, Cello, and Double bass (AMEB grade 6 and above or equivalent)
- Winds and brass (AMEB grade 5 and above or equivalent)
- Percussion and Harp (AMEB grade 4 and above or equivalent)
- Piano (at least CMus)

FEE: $400
(OR $300 with a valid Creative Kids voucher (send the voucher and date of birth with a payment slip of $300)

REHEARSALS & CONCERT:
14 January – 19 January 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm (rehearsals)
20 January 2024. 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm (dress rehearsal and concert)
